The issues we will work on together
The challenges facing Ontario require serious, practical action. I will work with residents, community organizations, and experts to advance solutions that strengthen our communities and improve everyday life.
Turning priorities into action
Our community deserves leadership that listens and delivers. By working closely with residents and local partners, we can move forward on the issues that matter most and create meaningful change.
Affordability
The increasing cost of living for Canadians troubles me deeply. I support well-targeted initiatives to ease barriers to affordable housing. I strive to think through how each issue affects the most vulnerable – for example, ensuring all residents of University-Rosedale have somewhere to sleep during cold winter nights.

Holistic support for vulnerable groups, including elderly and youth
There are significant access gaps in community health and mental health resources, even in Canada’s largest cities, and particularly for our most vulnerable populations. Canadian families need information, services, and long-term planning options, requiring strong inter-governmental collaboration, in order to thrive. The needs of children and youth, as well as seniors, are top priority.

Fiscal responsibility
Under Mark Carney I believe Canada is on a strong path to a resilient economy. I am determined to expand efforts to reduce the budget deficit, particularly the operational budget, at the federal level, while protecting progressive values and policies. This is your Project description. Climate Action
As a parent, I understand the urgency of climate change and the threat of action that is insufficient. We see how extreme weather and wildfires impacted people across Canada and the world. I am committed to expanding clean energy investment to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, including through household level supports, and will work to accelerate decarbonization of the grid.

Reconciliation
I am committed to recognizing and acknowledging the harm done to Canada’s Indigenous community and to seek more and better opportunities to promote ongoing work, open new dialogue, and educate Canadians everywhere. With Canada’s focus on Major Projects, we must ensure strong Indigenous participation and ownership, beyond consultation and consent.

Recreational sport
As an avid recreational athlete, I know how much participating in sports and physical activity can expand horizons and stretch our capabilities. But far beyond individual benefits, the research is clear - sport is a powerful driver of mental and physical health. Unfortunately, there is a significant participation gap in sport and play. To address this, I propose a 'collaboration of the willing'—integrating government and community programs to leverage existing infrastructure and make sport available to more than just elite club athletes. By treating sport as essential social infrastructure, we can help tackle the youth mental health crisis, address long-term chronic health outcomes and build belonging and social cohesion across generations. We learn so much from sports. As my dad would say - winning every game teaches us nothing - a close match is how we get better in sport and in life.

Foreign Policy
As a highly-respected middle power, Canada can—and does— exert significant influence internationally. I have seen this first-hand in negotiations at the United Nations and most certainly with Mark Carney’s multifaceted international approach to trade and security. Canada has also historically played a key role in resolving international crises. Our back-channeling capacity and reputation should be used in concert with clear, swift, and occasionally, bold international action. Yes, we must pick our battles, but not underestimate the importance of what Canada does internationally
