About Emma
I was born and raised in Toronto, my metropolitan childhood expanded by living and working in cities around the world. I know first-hand how lucky we are to live in Toronto, and Canada, and yet our country must continue to push forward with vigour and confidence. I will protect the good things we have, while working to keep building Canada strong, and more engaged communities. I will work to make the lives of my constituents more affordable, healthier, cleaner and connected to community.

Why I want to be a member of parliament
Chrystia Freeland aptly described these as dark times, perhaps the darkest since the second world war. As an economisttrained diplomat & public servant, with a track record of pragmatism, efficiency and foresight in international negotiations, I feel an ever stronger calling to serve our country. As the only child of my aging father, and as a working parent, I live directly the juggling of middle-class families. I hope to bring my unique community/international experience and vantage point to bear on all work of parliament - from the flashy and controversial to the quiet but critical committee work and building of bridges. I will stand up for the values of inclusion, sovereignty, openness, dynamism and resilience that make UniversityRosedale special.
